Jessika Power calls Elizabeth Sobinoff 'desperate', after her return to MAFS in announced

‘I wouldn’t do it again!’ Jessika Power calls former co-star Elizabeth Sobinoff ‘desperate’ for returning to Married At First Sight in 2020

Jessika Power has broken her silence on Elizabeth Sobinoff’s controversial return to Married At First Sight next year.

Speaking to fans during an Instagram Stories Q&A on Sunday night, the 28-year-old said her former co-star must have been ‘desperate for love’ to have applied for a second round.

‘I did message [Elizabeth] when I found out [she was on the show] and I said, ‘Girl, are you sure? You want to go through that again?’ I wouldn’t do it again,’ Jessika told her 216,000 followers.

The blonde bombshell also explained she was expecting a different co-star to rejoin the show.

‘I always thought they would put Mel [Lucarelli] back on,’ Jessika admitted.

She added: ‘They are making a TV show, so maybe they thought Lizzie would be a bit more controversial.’

Jessika revealed that the Married At First Sight ‘producers can be so pushy’ while filming, which can ‘really affect’ the stars ‘mentally’.

‘For her to go and do it again, she must be really desperate for love,’ she said.

Elizabeth’s return to the show was announced on Christmas Eve, when Channel Nine released an extended trailer.

Billed as ‘Australia’s most confident bride’ in the 2019 season, the 27-year-old is clearly a woman on a mission to find her Mr. Right.

‘I’m going to get the love that I deserve,’ Elizabeth said at the end of the clip.

Elizabeth filmed her wedding to retired footy player Sebastian Guilhaus, 31, in October, around six weeks into production of the new season.

At this point during filming, several couples had already left the experiment.

On November 24, Daily Mail Australia published photos that showed Elizabeth and Sebastian looking miserable while filming in Sydney.
